I’m an Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) professional with specialisms in consultancy, training, and speaking on EDI topics. I have a passion for creating spaces in workplaces and organisations where everyone feels valued, respected, and able to thrive.

My journey into EDI work grew from a lifelong belief that fairness and inclusion are not optional extras - they’re the foundation of strong, innovative, and healthy communities. Over the years, I’ve seen first-hand how the right conversations, policies, and actions can transform culture and open doors for those who’ve been excluded. That’s what drives me every day.

I have a CMI Level 7 Award in Strategic Approaches to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and was awarded an MBE in the 2022 New Year Honours for services to astronomy and diversity in physics. I have over 10 years of hands-on experience across STEM, education, and the cultural sector, I bring both strategic insight and practical tools to my work. My approach blends evidence-based best practice with lived experience, ensuring solutions are not just compliant, but truly transformative.

I’ve worked with organisations ranging from 200-year-old learned societies to innovative research institutes - helping them review policies, develop inclusive strategies, deliver impactful training, and inspire cultural change. Whether I’m running a workshop, advising a leadership team, or auditing a website for accessibility and representation, my goal is always the same: to create meaningful, lasting change. I believe inclusion isn’t a box to tick but an ongoing commitment, a leadership responsibility, and a catalyst for creativity and innovation.

When I’m not working with clients, you might find me speaking at conferences, mentoring emerging leaders, or finding new ways to make science and learning more accessible to all. And sometimes, you’ll find me simply enjoying the small things: because change-making is important work, but so is recharging for the journey ahead.
